Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about how we quote, our heavy equipment capabilities, credentials, or our eco-friendly policies? Read through our details below.

1. How do you price junk removal in Metro Atlanta? +
Our pricing is transparent and volume-based (how much space your items take up in our 18-cubic-yard dump trailer). Single item pickups start at $85, while full truckloads (18 cubic yards) are priced at $880. The price includes all loading, sweep-up, and disposal fees. We quote before we work, and the quote never changes.
2. What counts as a "single item" pickup? +
A single item refers to individual, heavy, or bulky objects like a mattress, a refrigerator, a couch, a washing machine, or a hot tub. We load it, haul it, and ensure it is properly recycled or donated.
3. What is the difference between your service and renting a dumpster? +
Renting a dumpster means you have to load it yourself, it sits in your driveway for days potentially damaging your driveway, and you pay a flat rental fee plus weight overflow charges. With Peachy Clean, we do all the heavy lifting, load it immediately, sweep up the area, and drive it away in one visit.
4. Do you offer same-day service? +
Yes! We frequently have same-day appointments available for residential and commercial jobs. Call us at (470) 640-3802 before noon, and we will do our absolute best to get a truck to you that afternoon.
5. Are you licensed, bonded, and insured? +
Yes. Peachy Clean Junk Removal is fully licensed to operate in Georgia, bonded for client protection, and carries comprehensive commercial liability insurance. We are also BBB Accredited.
6. Do you have a General Contractor (GC) license or construction roots? +
Yes. We have 30 years of professional construction experience and are currently in the final process of obtaining our Georgia GC license, with a licensed GC in-house. This background ensures we know building codes, structural boundaries, and slope grading like the back of our hands. We tackle light demolition and site prep work safely and professionally.
7. What machinery do you use for land clearing and demolition? +
We own and operate a Bobcat 590 full-size skid steer for heavy work, plus a mini skid steer with a full suite of attachments: Forestry Mulcher, stump grinder, brush cutter, backhoe, post hole digger, trencher, rake, and a hydraulic Jack Hammer. This allows us to handle heavy excavation, stump grinding, fence digging, and concrete breaking.
8. Do I need to be present during the cleanup or clearing? +
No. As long as we have access to the items or property (gate codes unlocked, details coordinated), we can perform the job, send you photo/video walkthrough confirmations, and handle payment securely over the phone or online.
9. What items are you unable to take? +
We cannot haul away toxic chemicals, hazardous/industrial waste, fuel tanks, radioactive materials, live animals, or asbestos (our 'hard-no' list). However, we can help coordinate disposal or provide instructions for local Georgia options like CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) or SA Recycling for recycling metals, chemical waste, and large appliances. E-waste, paints, batteries, and motor fluids must be declared in advance so we can handle them according to Metro Atlanta environmental rules.
10. What is your "Donate First" policy? +
We follow a Donate First, Recycle Second, Landfill Last policy. We sort through all hauled materials. Working appliances and reusable furniture are donated to local Metro Atlanta partners like Goodwill, AMVETS, and Faith in Action. Scrap metal and electronics are taken to recycling facilities.
11. What is your IICRC Biohazard Certification? +
Our team is certified by the IICRC to handle trauma scenes, blood, and bodily fluid remediation. This means we possess the training, safety suits, sanitizing compounds, and legal compliance to clean up hoarding conditions, evictions, and emergency scenes safely.
12. How do you handle hoarding cleanouts? +
With complete compassion, zero judgment, and total discretion. We move at a pace that is comfortable for the homeowner, sort carefully for keepsakes or legal documents, and ensure everything is loaded safely. We do not use marked trucks for hoarding cleanouts if discretion is requested.
13. Can you haul long or heavy items like cars? +
Yes. With our 21-ft flatbed trailer and CDL licenses, we are fully equipped to haul away non-running cars, heavy metal framing, machinery, agricultural equipment, or extra-long building materials.
14. Do you clean up the site when you are done? +
Absolutely. We have a Broom-Clean Guarantee. We don't just throw items in our truck and leave; we sweep up the garage, driveway, or lawn area, leaving the site completely clean and ready to use.
15. What cities do you cover? +
We cover 24 cities across Metro Atlanta. This includes Atlanta proper, Douglasville, Austell, Bremen, Carrollton, College Park, Dallas, East Point, Fairburn, Hiram, Lithia Springs, Mableton, Newnan, Palmetto, Powder Springs, Rock Mart, Roswell, Smyrna, South Fulton, Temple, Villa Rica, West Marietta, Whitesburg, and Winston.
